01 / About
Meeting you with warmth and curiosity.
People often begin therapy carrying anxiety, fear, doubt, sadness, or a desire to understand themselves and their relationships more deeply. Julia offers an open, accepting relationship in which those experiences can be met with care.
Her own experiences of marriage, family life, living and working abroad, and becoming a therapist have deeply shaped her personally and professionally, inviting her to grow emotionally, spiritually, and skillfully.
Julia understands therapy as a meeting between two people. She brings warmth, clarity, and a belief that healing becomes possible when people feel genuinely accompanied rather than judged or directed.
02 / Therapeutic approach
Understanding the whole person.
Julia believes that current struggles often carry echoes of earlier relationships and family-of-origin experiences. Understanding those connections can create more freedom to respond differently rather than remaining caught in familiar patterns.
Her work emphasizes the therapeutic relationship, the mind-body connection, family systems, and a pluralistic understanding of each person. She draws from Internal Family Systems and the relational work of John Welwood.
At the center of her approach is confidence in each person’s underlying wisdom, strength, love, confidence, and sense of purpose—even when painful experiences have made those qualities difficult to reach.
